REMINDER: Overnight parking on city streets in the City of Green Lake is prohibited starting November 15th and ending April 15th. There is no parking allowed on city streets from 2:30 am until 6:00 am. This allows for snowplowing to be done unobstructed.  If there is a need to park on the street overnight contact the Green Lake Police Department to get permission, at 920-294-6333.  Cars may be parked overnight in the Athletic Field Parking Lot, Library Parking Lot at corner of Hill and Lake Streets, Public Parking Lot at corner of South and Lake Streets and Canal Street Boat Landing.

During times of low visibility (snowstorms) remember to turn your headlights on manually during daytime snowstorms unless you have daytime running lights. Otherwise, if headlights are activated by a light sensor, they may not turn on automatically.  If headlights are on, your taillights will also be on.

City of Green Lake Municipal Code, Section 6-2-7 states all sidewalks must be cleared of snow and ice within 24 hours from the time the snow ceases to accumulate.  Sidewalks are to be kept free of snow and ice a minimum of four (4) feet in width.
